Did you `make clean` before getting latest?  Did you re-run
./configure ?  Also, check `svn status` and see if you have any files
marked "M"...if so run `svn revert -R .` to revert them (I had to do
this for some reason even though I'm fairly sure I hadn't modified any
files).

If all that fails, try getting a fresh checkout and starting over.
