[MonoDevelop] Possible bugs in Stetic/Monodevelop?

Ah - sorry, re-reading my explanation shows that it is quite poor.

I've attatched a screenshot - when I say all I see is a grey box, I
mean that even with 8+ entries in the menu when expanded in stetic
it's just a grey box - the menu items themselves are not visible.
This is in stetic - when I run the program they show up.

If this has never been reported before I'm inclined to believe it's
not a stetic bug but something to do with my set up.  On both my
machines I've used the rpm from the download page as if I compile it
from source myself the program crashes even more spectacularly.
