[MonoDevelop] SVN Monodevelop + No Syntax Highlighting

How/where does md figure out how to do syntax highlighting? My svn
installation doesn't have any but my distro package and gedit both have it.

I'm trying to figure out what libraries/files it uses to do the syntax
highlighting so I can fix it.
