[MonoDevelop] Error running MD 0.12

Like others, I've had trouble running MD 0.12. I'm running Dapper
(under Parallels Desktop on a Mac). I had MD 0.11 installed and
working. I've uninstalled it (as well as my previous version of mono)
and also removed /usr/lib/monodevelop as suggested in another post.

I've now tried:

1. Install from RPM (using alien and dpkg)
2. Install from source tar ball
3. Install mono 1.1.17.1 (which appears to have MD 0.12)

I followed the instructions that Peter posted in another post and it
worked for me. Thanks, Peter.

(However, I do see that everytime I close MD i'm getting a segfault as
well. (guess I can live with that)
