I am no NAnt expert, but when I looked into to it for using on my mono
app, I found it not easy to check for dependencies ( i.e. pkg-config
modules ).  

Probably, a lot of the stuff that is needed could be done with Nant, but
it may require a lot of customizations that do not come with Nant out of
the box.  Someone would need to fully investigate this.
