[MonoDevelop] Switching between source and designer view

Hi,

Currently MonoDevelop switches to GUI Builder layout when opening a
source file it detects as a GUI component. But wouldn't it be wiser to
switch to that layout when the user presses the "Designer" button?
That way the user could have a code writing layout and a GUI builder
layout. (An illustration of what I am thinking is in a form of
pictures, which I have attached)
