[MonoDevelop] MonoDevelop New Solution Window

Hello all, i've recently built the 0.8 source on a fedora core 4 box...
everything seemed to be running fine until i attempted to create a new
solution... whenever i click "new solution", the dialog window appears,
but with no content in the dialog (no icons, etc)... the window simply
hangs and i am forced to kill the process... oddly, i am able to open
existing solutions just fine and even compile and run them, it's only
when i try to add a new solution that it hangs... any ideas to help?...
