[MonoDevelop] Issues with syntax highlighting

I have some issues with syntax highlighting. I am using the MonoDevelop
release from the Mono 1.1.9.2 packages for SUSE 9.3.

1) Monodevelop is not colouring my *.xslt files. It does the job well
with *.xml files. How can I set a preference for it to behave the same
way for xslt files as for xml files? Can this be changed on the sources
so as to colour *.xsl and *.xslt files automatically?

2) When colouring JavaScript syntax (I suppose that it has detected it
by the ".js" extension of my file) I am seeing an issue. If you write
something like:

if (FunctionWithANumberInIt2){

The number (2) is getting the "pink" color, I mean, it has a different
color than the rest of function name. I think this is incorrect.

    Regards and thanks in advance,
