[MonoDevelop] Am I running the correct version?

I downloaded, compiled, and installed monodevelop-0.8.tar.gz.
Everything works fine.  Then I hunt for all the new features but can't
find anything.  I try to do things like "mdrun setup" and "mdrun
gsetup" but the command just returns without doing anything, no errors
either.

Hmm ... what's going on?  I check help > about and the version says
0.7.  That's weird.  I do "monodevelop -version" ... same thing, 0.7.
Huh?

Can anyone help me out here?
