[MonoDevelop] Monodevelop exits after splash screen

You are right.  I just had an off list exchange with Todd Berman (off 
list b/c I
misspelled the list address in my CC line) about this.

As Todd instructed, I looked at the DefaultEditingLayout.xml file in
~/.configure/MonoDevelop and found that it was different than the version
included in the source tree (and installed in
/usr/local/lib/mondevelop/data/options).

After I replaced the one in ~/.configure/MonoDevelop with the version that was
in the source tree, all is well (haven't tested extensively but things seem ok
now).
