Hi,

I have a very similar problem. I'm using Ubuntu 5.04, 256 mb ram

---Compilation Part--- Problem 1
If I install the latest Mono 1.1.7 files, and get to the Make component, it
takes ~7 hours to compile, but it does compile (eventually). This is on a
1.5ghz pc.
---Run Part--- Problem 2
Then another problem crops up (every single time):
*Run mono-develop.
*Start a new solution
*Choose any project type, C#, Glade#, Gtk# whatever
*Compile the sample project
*Run the project
*Mono-develop crashes
*try to restart mono-develop, it crashes without ever loading the main form
*Also note that the cpu usage at this point has spiked to 100% and system
crawls indefinitely.

*reboot machine and try Run Part stage (above) again
*problem repeats

Hi, I try to build monodevelop 0.7 on RedHat 9, first I
install the latest Mono 1.1.7 and all the packages that monodevelop
0.7 require, and I also pass the ./configure step. But at the "make"
step, it raise so many error. I don't know how to fix it, or may be
monodevelop 0.7 not reference to the correct assembly.....
