are you running a release or a svn version? ive only had success
building svn version with 1.0.2 on linux, it might be the same on
freebsd. also, if you could include some of the build errors that would
help.

I'm building from the release version. The error message (from the
gtksourceview-sharp build) I get is:

Assertion failed: (lu ->lu_myreq ->lr_owner==lu),function_lock_acquire,
file /usr/src/lib/libpthread/sys/lock.c, line 171

Abort trap (core dumped)
*** Error code 134

Thanks for the help.
