Hi,

I'm studing the option of to add support for Mono projects in Anjuta. It is
as mature IDE to many languages but mainly C, C++ with Gnome in mind. It
uses Scintilla as the source hightlight system that support more than 30
languages and C# included (but not 100% supported). The best thing I saw in
Anjuta is that it is very close to VS since it have highligh,
autocompletation, project management, CVS support and the most significant
is "in-IDE" debugging.
When I studied the code of Anjunta I think that monodevelop should provide
most of its functions as components enabling us to create another
"monodevelop" that best fit our needs as well as use that components to
quickly integrate the functions in other IDEs.

what do you think?
