I wanted to regenerate my code completion database too. I managed to
find it in '~/.config/MonoDevelop'. I had a '~/.ICSharpCode' too but
that was hanging about from a previous snapshot.

Once this is deleted MonoDevelop will ask you to regenerate it when you
restart.

Would it be a good idea to add this to the FAQ on monodevelop.com?
