[MonoDevelop] monodevelop-0.1 freezes

MonoDevelop has known issues with mono/mcs from cvs, we are working on
them, but for the time being stick with 0.30

as for your freeze, its most likely a crash, so getting us the backtrace
would be very helpful.

run monodevelop from a terminal to do so.
