[MonoDevelop] Any plans to support python for .net?

there are two implementations of python for .net/ mono around in the moment.

Are there any plans to support python development in monodevelop?

(I think, it would be a really good idea. I like python, but there are 
many libraries, that are only
available for c# or java, and with python for mono I could write my own 
code in python and
easily use these libraries.)
