I was mostly concerned with what your intent was, thanks for your
clear answer.  Just so everyone is aware, I am not convinced that you
can state assemblies are 'linked' in the same context as the GPL as a
given.  However, they had this debate about Java also, so who am I to
say.  Given this, I can only hope that you see value in explicitly
allowing proprietary plug-ins at some point in the future, even though
I will no longer be around to care.  Good luck.
