[MonoDevelop] monodevelop refusing to start (SIGILL)

I built mono 1.0 and monodevelop 0.5 with the help of GARNOME, from
ftp://cipherfunk.org/pub/tarballs/garnome/garnome-2.6.2.tar.bz2

It worked flawlessly first (launching it for about 3 times), but
refuses to start now. The splash screen appears but then ...

OS is debian unstable on linux/ppc

I'd provide more information but this is all kinda new for me.
