I'm trying to work on a feature for the SourceEditorView but I'm
constantly thwarted by the width of the left column that features the
line numbers. How do you accurately calculate that width? When I pull
a TextIter out of the editor it always appears to be the width of the
"line number column" off. Can any GtkSourceView.SourceView experts out
there point me in the right direction to take into account the offset,
which maybe 0 if line numbers aren't shown?

Thanks,
Tom Larsen
