Clearly, C# is going to continue to be the best-supported language -
that's fine.
However, with the increasing popularity of MD as an IDE for non-.NET
languages and mixed-language projects, it would be great if those
languages 1) didn't have to reinvent the same functionality over and
over, and 2) could hook into some of the more advanced MD features
that make it such a great environment for C#.

That's already the situation for non-.NET languages.
