Thanks for that info Jonathan.

I'm a bit puzzled now, as to why the current 2.0 OSX download page still
says:

"Gtk# and System.Windows.Forms applications require X11. Installing on a
machine without X11 installed will result in errors during install, and
these components will not function correctly."

Does this mean that only the installer requires X11?
