How was mono 1.9 installed ? using packages from Ubuntu ? or the mono
"generic" installer ?

Maybe but it does not match any other issues I've seen. Are you 100%
sure that your previous tests (with libgdiplus SVN) was loading the
"right" library (and not another one installed ?).

Anyone else on Ubuntu 8.04 seeing this ?
