[Mono-winforms-list] dllNotFoundException libc.so.6 for macPack

Hi, this is my first post to this specific mono list, so please bear with
me.

Initially, I was trying to implement some gtk# stuff in mono, but felt
winforms was going to be easier for what I'm intending to accomplish. I'm
attempting to write an OSX/Win32 application and was doing a very simple
test on the mac (an alert box). When using macpack (macpack
-a:test.exe-n:test), I get the following error :

unhandled exception: System.DllNotFoundException: libc.so.6 in <wrapper
managed-tonative> Mac.Pack:chmod <string,uint> in <0x00856>
Mac.Pack:Generate () in <0x00471> Mac.Pack:Main (System.String[] args).

I am using winXP, and have cygwin installed.
