That shouldn't be happening at all as /usr/X11R6/lib should already be
defaulted to (it certainly is on FC4t3).

Needless to say, it's a pain in the backside.

On a plus note, it has triggered me into action to update my mono stuff
on my home site tonight and update the monoupdater script (it has been
fixed for gtk-sharp and also includes the capability to make clean or
make distclean by issuing sh ./monoupdater [clean]|[rebuild] as well as
the default of nothing. Just need to add a help to it now)
