Currently no one is working on it and there are no plans to work on it
in the short term.

In my opinion, the whole System.Drawing.Printing namespace has to be
audit, and the printing backend implemented. I do not think that we
currently have there is very useful.

I would suggest that you put together a plan and we can discuss it
openly here.
