Using GLUT might not be a bad idea. The existing .NET OpenGL binding
is almost certainly wgl specific, which would be a problem when the
platform-dependent module you need to poke is glX or CGL. I think GLUT
runs everywhere MWF does, although I don't remember what its license is
like, so that might be an issue.
