[Mono-winforms-list] order of installation

I am doing it on Solaris 8, so have to build it all.  Would red-carpet work
on soloris?

I think Red Carpet makes things lot more simpler. Just
pull out rpms from the mono channel in red-carpet.ximian.com.
and you will have mono running in a matter of minutes and you don't
have to break your head over dependencies.

What is the order of install for mono?  There are many things to put on
it
but nowhere does it tell you exactly what is required.  So far I have
the
following

Installed the gcc
C++???
install GNU m4 1.4 for automake
Install libtool 1.4 for fontconfig
install automake 1.4-p1 for fontconfig
install autoconfig for fontconfig

Install Gnome2 ???
Install fontconfig (for Cairo)
Install xrender (for Cairo)
Instal libgdiplus 1.0.2.tar
Install Cairo

Installation of mono
