Grab a copy of monocharge from go-mono.com/daily, dearchive and run
recharge.sh. Should fix the problems.

As another poster has suggested - do you have two copies of mono
installed into different places (for example, one in /usr/local, the
other in /usr)? That has been known to annoy...
