Are you really sure that you cannot type anything into the textbox? In my 
textbox I can see a very little piece of the blinking cursor on the top 
edge of the textbox. When I am typing something into the box, I can see 
the little piece of the cursor move. So if it is a very very small font or 
if the cursor is positioned just to high or the direction of y-axis is up 
and not down or something like that...

I am using wine-20040505-1 and mono Beta1 from Red Carpet.
