I tried to install Wine to run a Windows.Forms application with Mono under
Linux RedHat 9.

I followed the instructions from http://monoevo.sourceforge.net/mono/SWF.txt

When I try to run a sample application I get the following errors:

parsing configuration file
initializing JIT engine
Initializing Boehm GC library...
Wine libgc GC_init()
done!
Wine libgc GC_init()
fixme:thread:SYSDEPS_SpawnThread CreateThread: stub
parsing command line "helloGUI.exe"
runtime exec managed code
fixme:thread:SYSDEPS_SpawnThread CreateThread: stub

Here is the output of some commands that could help:
$ cat /usr/lib/pkgconfig/monoold.pc
prefix=/usr
exec_prefix=${prefix}
libdir=${exec_prefix}/lib
includedir=${prefix}/include

        libwine_unicode.so => /usr/local/lib/libwine_unicode.so (0x40321000)

I think I have followed every instructions, and tried everything suggested in
the thread "Error running monostub.exe.so after following directions"

I will also try the new approach from thread "patches for Win32 API libraries"

Olivier
