A little update:

I did some digging and discovered the 'runwine' script. It sets the
environment variable LD_PRELOAD to point at monowinehooks.so in
/usr/local/lib. The SWF.txt instructions say to put the file into
/usr/local/bin, but no big deal, I moved the file over (runwine also refers
to monostub.exe as './monostub.exe.so' -- what directory is it meant to be
run in?! monostub.exe.so is in /usr/local/lib/wine, as per the SWF.txt
instructions).

However, even with these changes, I still get the same error. Anyone?
