I hope I have all the subscriptions correct.

I have a vb.net application that is a console application. (used to be a
windows application).

It has occurred to us that if we are able to run it on all platforms then it
would be even more useful as a command. The alternatives are to re-write it
into C++ or to make it work as is on unix/linux.
