The MD5SUM is here: http://ftp.novell.com/pub/mono/archive/2.6.3/windows-installer/4/mono-2.6.3-gtksharp-2.12.10-win32-4.exe.md5

I have scanned the file myself and its contents and I don't find any virus. Virus scanners use heuristics to detect viruses that change themselves and false positives are common. If I get reports from anyone else I will look deeper.

Hi,

I have downloaded the package
"mono-2.6.3-gtksharp-2.12.10-win32-4.exe". Today I received a warning by
our company wide anti-virus service (McAfee?) "VirusScan EntSv 8.7"
that the file should be infected by "Worm/Palevo.lcz".

First of all I computed a md5 sum of my file to confirm that I
downloaded the original package from http://www.mono-project.com but
neither I can find a md5 hash nor any hash of the files distribute on
mono-project.com.

(1) How to confirm I got the original/clean package?
(2) Is such a problem already known to you or was that file temporary
infected in fact?

Thanks
sVx
