That is a crazy story. 
God destroys the city and everyone in  it soon afterwards.   Lot  escapes, but his wife is turned  to a pillar  of salt for looking  back.

It is not a story about why raping virgins is  great, but rather how easy it is to be diluted by a sinful culture  and be accepting of things that are  truly horrible. And how, even if you have lived that way your whole life, God can still use you for good.
