[Mono-osx] Trying to get mod_mono working w/ MacPorts

I am an seasoned ASP.NET dev and trying to serve simple ASP.NET pages on a
MacPorts version of mono. I've used MacPorts before, so I switched over to
MacPorts apache2.

There is already a regular non-MacPorts download of mono for OS X, but since
it doesn't include mod_mono and xsp, I decided to try the MacPorts.
Otherwise I wouldn't know how to compile a build mod_mono and xsp apart from
MacPorts. I am more than willing to steer away from MacPorts if needed.

So far I've tried the procedure at

steps for MacPorts.

Can anyone get me started.
