[Mono-osx] Installing on OSX 10.5 PPC

Hi, I am trying to install the Mono system on a dual G5 under Leopard 
(10.5.8).

The install fails with a comment "some files could not be written to "/".

I am logged in as administrator.

Per some of the docs, Mono does support PPC soI am hopeful someone can 
point me towards making this work.
