[Mono-osx] DM4 software wont open

hi,
i recently bought a d4i and am trying to hook it up to DM4 on my computer
however i am unable to open the software. i installed mono i believe but i
am not great with computers then i installed DM4 and then when i tried to
open DM4 it tells me that the program unexpectedly quit. i try to reopen or
whatever and nothing works.
please help,
