[Mono-osx] End User Mono Max OS X Question

I had a coder make me some basic .net applications for my windows, which
provided an interface to log onto remote mysql servers and view and process
basic applications on the db/tables.

Do I need him to use Mono to recompile or is their something I can download
which will allow me to use his original applications right from the mac?
