[Mono-osx] Accessing a .NET DLL through Mono using FPC (free pascal on Mac OS X)

The .NET DLL is written in C# with a class (OO) approach. We have the source
code which is published with the DLL. As far as compatibility is concerned,
we have no experience here (and neither do the Windows-based authors of the
DLL), so we don't know what we don't know. In the first instance, we
assumed that any .NET DLL could be hosted in Mono and would behave
consistently across platforms... Is there any information on what to look
for/at to determine Mac OS X compatibility?
