I think you just have to add the entitlements property list file in Xcode and then add the entitlements that your app needs:

Note that the March 1 deadline for Mac App Store apps to support sandboxing has been pushed back again, this time to June 1. Probably to get it in sync with the new Gatekeeper feature of Mountain Lion this summer.

Are MonoMac apps able to comply with the Mac AppStore sandboxing requirements? I did some searching and could not find anything definitive.
If you happen to know of a link, or otherwise know any info, that you could pass along, I'd appreciate it.
