Hi Hawk,

I wouldn't worry about this too much—I haven't seen too many issues with that pkg-config symlink, and there was no pkg-config there to begin with, Mono just puts a symlink. You can safely 'sudo unlink /usr/bin/pkg-config' and things will still work. 

The CMake warning seems like a red herring to me—I've never seen any problems, but I also don't use CMake.
