[Mono-osx] Mono/xwt MacTest Debug options greyed out

I'm trying to debug the MacTest application located here:

https://github.com/mono/xwt

But the "Start Debugging Item" option is greyed out - does anyone have any
suggestions on how to enable it? 

I can successfully debug MonoMac applications created via the MonoDevelop
new solution wizard.
