[Mono-osx] OS X 10.5?

I have developed my application, tested it and created a package
installer. I'm using 10.7 (Lion) and it works fine.

I've given it to another person who has 10.5 (and no Mono framework).
After installing and starting the application no window opens and the
menu bar only contains View and Help (so the File menu is missing).

Is this due to the current version of Mono not being compatible with 10.5?

Where can I find more information on requirements and/or how can I debug
this further?
