[Mono-osx] Mono don't work

   I am new to Mac Os x

I have a Macbook pro 1,2 intel core duo 
Mac os x Snow Leopard

I tried to install Mono via the website: 

monoframweork...mre.2.10.5_0..dmg

monoframweork...mdk.2.10.5_0..dmg

and Monodevelop

but nothing works

when I click on monodevelop the Icon app starts and inmediatly closes and
nothing happens

I try as well with tomboy and same happens, nothing

I tried to execute via terminal "mono Tomboy.exe"

and throws me an exception like:

what am I doing wrong
