[Mono-osx] Building Mono for /Users/Shared

My apologies. I should have been clearer. It isn't an error per se. However,
trying to build libgdiplus on 10.6 makes my want to pull my hair out.
Totally from my own ignorance though. I get stuck in depedancy hell trying
to build gettext, then gdi, etc. Searching online has resulted in me being
even more confused as others seem to have run into the same problem. Their
solutions do not work in my case, as I am trying to do this on a computer
without admin access.

Anyways. I am trying to build a parallel mono environment on 10.6 that is
available in /Users/Shared/. I have read
http://www.mono-project.com/Parallel_Mono_Environments but am unclear on how
to make that work for OS X. 

Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.
