[Mono-osx] Problem running MonoTools server on Leopard

Hi
Firstly I'm a windows man so I might ask dumb questions.

I'm trying to get MonoTools server up and running on a Mac running OSX
server (Leopard).
When I click the Mac MonoTools server icon, the icon bounces a couple of
times but nothing else visually happens.

Problem is I can not access the MT server from a windows Visual Studio box.
It returns an error of 'no connection could be made because the target
machine actively refuses it'
There's no firewall setup on the Mac and I can ping it ok from the win box.

My question is, how can I tell if the MT server app is actually riunning on
the Mac?

Anyone got anny clues on this for me?
