[Mono-osx] Dns.GetHostName() reports username instead of hostname

I've got a MacOSX box running Cisco Clean Access. When I login,
Dns.GetHostName() reports the USERNAME instead of the actual HostName. 

So I'm wondering, does anyone know what the Mono code actually uses to
determine the hostname? I'm wondering if there's a conflict and if this
Cisco product alters or changes something that Mono depends on to get the
HostName.

Thoughts anyone?
