I got this same error, and I have followed the instructions to the letter. I
used the instructions at http://www.mono-project.com/MonoMac and made sure I
had all the requirements listed at
http://www.mono-project.com/MonoMacPackager

I have
XCode 3.2.5
MonoDevelop 2.4.2
Mono 2.8.2
Apple's Application Tools 1.1
MonoMac 2.4.0.13

I create a simple MonoMac Document project compile it, run it, and then try
to create an installer using Project->Create Mac Installer.

I get the message "Unhandled error in packaging". I checked the log at
~/Library/Logs/MonoDevelop and it reads:

ERROR [2011-02-01 12:01:35Z]: Unhandled exception in packaging
System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type
'MonoDevelop.MacDev.ProcessArgumentBuilder' from assembly
'MonoDevelop.MacDev, Version=2.4.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.
  at MonoDevelop.MonoMac.Gui.MonoMacPackaging+<Package>c__AnonStorey2.<>m__2
() [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0

Any suggestions?
