[Mono-osx] mscorlib.dll.dylib error

I have built the libusb-1.0 code for mono running under os x.

I have tried to run both the libUsbDotNet.dll and the MonoLibUsb solution. 
When I run the Test_Info.exe example application (MONO_LOG_LEVEL=debug mono
Test_Info.exeMono)

I get the following error:

Mono: AOT failed to load AOT module
/Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/Versions/2.10.1/lib/mono/2.0/mscorlib.dll.dylib:
dlopen(/Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/Versions/2.10.1/lib/mono/2.0/mscorlib.dll.dylib,
9): image not found

I checked and the mscorlib.dll is present but not the mscorlib.dll.dylib
file.

Any ideas on how to address this missing file?
