[Mono-osx] Support for 64bit osx on 2.6.7?

I'm trying to compile 2.6.7 for 64 bits on OSX 10.5.8. It builds just fine
with 32, by default.

>From what I've been able to Google, I should only need to configure with
"--with-glib=embedded --build=x86_64-apple-darwin10". When this compiles I
get

mini-amd64.c:877: error: can't find a register in class ‘BREG’ while
reloading ‘asm’

I've tried adding in various mixes of "CFLAGS='-arch x86_64'", but it hasn't
gotten me through. From what I can see the OSX support is still pretty
fresh. Does 2.6.7 have the necessary ingredients for OSX 64? Do I have some
other obvious problem?

Thanks for any support.
